After a tiring week at work, don’t have energy to cook anything. Just a simple comforting dish will make my day. What else would be better than home-made peanut powder! Very simple yet filling and healthy. Good part is my kids and hubby loves it too. Okay I’m almost ready with my dinner and here its my recipe!
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
No of Servings: 12
Ingredients:
Peanuts: 2 cup
Red Chilies: 4-6.
Salt: As per taste
Tamarind: small piece
Method:
- Heat a pan and dry roast peanuts in it.
- Add red chilies and dry tamarind to it.
- After getting nice aroma, turn off the heat.
- Let it cool down for 15 mins.
- Crush the peanuts roughly with hands and blow off the skin.
- Blend it in mixer along with salt.
- Serve it with hot rice and ghee.
- Store it in an air tight container.
